JANE OF ALL TRADES
Let's TACO 'BOUT IT
I've been teaching high school journalism and advising large, student-led publishing projects for almost five years
Am I an unsung hero? Maybe. Probably not. But if I can wrangle teenagers to produce and publish award winning magazines, yearbooks and websites, I know I can lead or be part of really any team.

It's not without its ups and downs, and I certainly don't do it perfectly, but I am an Attention-to-Detail Queen, an intensive editor and efficient perfectionist, and I expect high standards from myself and my staff - and we typically deliver.

STUDENT NEWSMAGAZINE
LE JOURNAL
In an advising role, I help a small staff produce up to six printed newsmagazine issues for the school and local community.
Students learn journalistic writing, interviewing, design, editing, photography and a sense of real-world, professional responsibility and communication through this class.
